Shalimar by Guerlain is a fresh and woody fragrance for women.

Shalimar can be found in four different types, EDP, EDT, EDC and Parfum. They are all different, but they all share the same complex shimmering blend of vanilla, bergamot, incense, amber, rose, leather and musk.

Shalimar Eau de Parfum is a powerhouse scent with a sweet, sharp citrus, slightly chemical, vanilla opening that soon blends with the leather, incense and subtle hints of rose and iris. Shalimar EDP has great longevity and you’ll find that the vanilla notes are darker, denser and more rounded.

Shalimar Eau de Toilette is a less opulent, softer take on this classic scent. You still get the citrus opening, but it quickly merges with the leather and vanilla. You are left with a powdery, sweeter, lighter vanilla version.

Shalimar Eau de Cologne is a dreamy vanilla haze; the florals come and go before settling into the woody notes. It is delicate, light and perfect if you want a scent just for you.

Shalimar Parfum is intense and beautiful. An opening with light citrus and cedar that’s blended with incense, smokey leathery, resin and of course the vanilla. A true gem that’s deeper, spicier and heavier in the animalistic aspect than any of the other versions.

In homage to the legendary love story between Emperor Shahjahan and his wife Mumtaz Mahal, Jacques Guerlain launched Shalimar in 1925. The fragrance is named after Mumtaz’s favourite garden, ‘The Gardens of Shalimar’. It is a true vintage scent that’s still as good today as the day it was created.
